About the Stud
Heritage on the hoof, bred at Running Creek

Our Story
A working cattle farm first — a stud second

The Greenhollow bee — small, busy, and built for this country
Greenhollow Brangus runs on the ridgelines and creek country of Running Creek, in Queensland's Scenic Rim. We are cattle breeders — not marketers — and every animal in the herd earns its place the old way: on grass, under pressure, year after year.
The Brangus blend suits this country perfectly. Brahman hardiness carries the herd through ticks, heat and dry spells; Angus genetics deliver the carcase and temperament the market demands. The result is a black, polled, quiet animal that works for stud and commercial producers alike.
The gate is always open. Call any hour — if we are in the yards we will call you back, and if you are passing through Running Creek the kettle is on.

The Breed Advantage
3/8 Brahman · 5/8 Angus
Brangus is not a crossbreed lottery — it is a stabilised breed with fixed fractions, combining the environmental armour of the Brahman with the beef quality of the Angus.
Heat & Tick Tolerance
The 3/8 Brahman infusion delivers slick coats, natural tick resistance and the ability to graze through a Queensland summer without dropping condition.
Carcase Quality
The 5/8 Angus backbone brings marbling, tenderness and the market acceptance that finishers and processors pay a premium for.
Doing Ability
Moderate framed, easy fleshing cattle that convert grass to kilograms without supplementary feeding programs.
Longevity
Greenhollow cows are still raising heavy calves at twelve years old. Longevity is profit — and we breed for it deliberately.
